Ballet
The aim of this class to is provide a form of physical training that is safe, working both sides of the body evenly, alongside the development of artistic and musical appreciation. Correct alignment and placement of the body to the best of the individual physical facility. Students will develop a sense of line and co-ordination of movement, an appreciation of artistry in their own demonstration and that of other performers and spatial awareness. Exercises at the barre will precede centerwork, always with an emphasis on good stance or posture. Classical Ballet is an art form that develops body tone and strength.
Belly Dance - Technique
Learn the exotic dance of the East. Belly Dancing is an an ancient art form that has been passed down from woman to woman for thousands of years and has typically been danced by women for women. This unique class is full of energy. Tune into the natural movements of the body while increasing flexibility and fitness level, burning calories and most of all having fun! Belly Dancing promotes relaxation and improves self-esteem. Students will learn shimmies, hip rolls, figure eights and classical arm movements. Some classes may work with veils, canes, zils (finger cymbals) and other props.

In this class, students will learn a piece of choreography to music. It is exciting to see how steps can be put together to make a complete dance. As the students rehearse the movements, they will gain confidence in dancing the exotic dance of the east.

Belly Dance Fusion - Intro to "Tribal" Fusion
8 week Specialty Series A brand new class breakin down tribal fusion styled arms, body positions and hip work. A very controlled and specific technique, this class focuses on fierce hip work with amazing upper body presence, group synchronicity, and styled hands and arms.
Blissful (Ishta) Yoga
Ishta Yoga (Integrated Science of Hatha, Tantra and Ayurveda is a Sanskrit word that means individual or personalized. This style of Yoga stresses alignment of the body, building of core heat, deep concentration and an acute observation of the body through breathing practices. This type of practice is purposefully sensitive to individual needs in order to bring out each student's fullest potential.
Chair Yoga (Intro)
A gentle and nurturing Hatha Yoga class consisting of simple yoga sequences, breathing practices, guided relaxation and meditation all practiced in a seated position. The focus of the class will include a deepened awareness, appreciation and respect for your body’s ability and potential. Experience first hand, how this ancient science guides us back to the joy and peace that exists at the core of our being. Recommended for people of all ages, beginners, returning students and for those with physical challenges.
Go With the Flow
Lore Kent takes her Ashtanga background, combining it with Anusara alignment principals and traditional yoga philosophy to offer a unique and varied "theme" class each week. Adaptations are offered in this technique. This class is designed for practicing yogis who want an energetic class, integrating alignment principals into their practice as they strengthen their body and mind to the rhythm of breath and flow. Iyengar Yoga
Concentration on correct body alignment and the clarity and detail of classic yoga form and movement -- presented with a sense of calm, focus and attention to breath. Props are used.
No "Butts" About It
A challenging body blast with a "you can do it" attitude concentrating on 'points of concern' (the glutes, triceps, and abdominals) yet targeting all of the major muscle groups. This class focuses on endurance, strength, definition and tone and increasing bone density using progressive weight training, balls, & bands and includes 20-30 minutes of Pilates abs with individual attention and amended exercises for the back and other areas that may be problematic.
Pilates with Weights
Pilates core work emphasizing increased core strength, stability, posture, and alignment with a concentration on the flow of movement. The "Navel to Spine" technique is taught for both deep abdominal muscle work and back strength and stabilization in conjunction with the use of free weights. Some exercises are set on the Swiss Ball. Fun, challenging, and each exercise is adjusted to the physcial requirements of the student.
Restorative Dance for Health & Healing
Within a supportive and encouraging environment this class aims to boost body awareness, energy and endurance. This class begins with breathing exercises that progress into a dance warm-up, activating the lymphatic system and fluid body, developing strength, muscle tone and bone density. Dance sequences are practiced weekly, improving coordination and memory. The class winds down with stretching and is followed by easy expressive improvisation exercises. All sequences are done standing and can be modified to sitting in chairs if necessary.
Restorative Yoga
Find a deep relaxation and sense of calm with this 'technique of rejuvination', particularly healthful for those seeking a reprive from the stress and demands of a busy lifestyle.
Sculpt ABsolute
Major muscle groups are targeted for strength, tone and definition, bone density and flexibility. Core (abdominal) work consists of a 20-25 minute varied program including Pilates; designed to strengthen the back as well as tone the abs. Weights, balls, bands, rings and other props are used. The class is a challenging one, but the exercises are adapted to fit all levels. Careful individual attention is given to each student. Participants 'pump iron' and enjoy doing it (everyone starts at their own level). Great atmosphere, great fun, great results!
Strength Training on the Ball
Total body toning working with a stability ball. Works all muscle groups with a strong emphasis on core strength and balance.
Swiss Balls & Weights
A comprehensive fitness class working with Swiss Balls, weights and a variety of balls and rings. Goals: increasing strength, tone and definition, bone density, flexibility and overall finess levels. Abdominal (core) work is varied and stresses principles that adhere to correct back alignment and strengthening. Pilates work is included. The class is geared to all levels and will challenge individuals according to their specific needs.
Tap
In this class, students will experience a gradual buildup of technique to tone the body. The emphasis is on body and arm movements which co-ordinate naturally with precise footwork. Students will learn basic steps, technique, line and style, tone and rhythm, presentation and musical awareness. Exercises at the barre will precede centerwork, always with emphasis on good stance or posture.
Teen Yoga
Integrative mind/body balancing class for teens taught by Linda Fuller, Yoga Therapist. The class is fun and highly beneficial for teens experiencing stress from competitive educational programs and social development. The class promotes relaxation, stress release, stretching, and posture and alignment for the growing body. Benefits also include increased self-esteem and and opportunity to meet other teens.
Yoga II Bootcamp
A yoga challenge exercising both body and soul. A dynamic, energetic and continuous flowing movement that "rides on the breath". This class integrates correct body alignment with strengthening techniques and increases stamina.
Yoga Core
An integrated flow combining breathing techniques and classic yoga poses with Pilates-based, core-strengthening movements. This practice helps to develop the abdominals and strengthens the back. Benefits also include deep relaxation.
Yoga Meditation
In this class we will practice warm-up poses and yoga postures that will prepare the body and mind for seated meditation. 30-40 minutes of asana (postures) practice followed by pranayama (breathing) exercises and meditation.
Yogalates
Utilizes the principles of both Yoga and Pilates core work; emphasizing increased core strength, stability, posture and alignment. Zumba
Step into the "tHE zUMBA rEVOLUTION"! A mix of Latin rhythms from Salsa to Merengue to Flamenco and much more. A calorie burning class with a combination of fast/slow rhythms and body sculpting. Great Fun!
